Obama's Inauguration Committee
National Day of Service
Celebrate the Legacy of Martin Luther King
If you want to be part of the movement of change by volunteering some of your precious time to a local good cause but don't know what you'd like to do, we invite you to join us on
Monday, January 19
7:00 p.m.
Urbana United Methodist Church
238 N. Main St.
Urbana, OH
Representatives - or information - will be available from 13 non-profit organizations in Champaign County to describe their services and how you might fit in as a volunteer. You need not make any commitment at this time, but if you're thinking of volunteer service, this would be a great opportunity to see what's out there - and to meet other people who also want to make a difference.
Our country is in crisis and this is one way that you can help without hurting your pocket book!
(The meeting will take place in the Curriculum Room at the UMC.
Use the side door and go to the second floor.)
