Supporting the Community

It has always been "Urbana Leader" and its producers desire to fully support the community with our programs.
We can now be seen on the City of Urbana P.E.G. Local Access Channels 5 and 13 with a noncommercial
version of the programs.
It is our desire to "Enhance First Amendment rights, provide for the dissemination of diverse views, provide a forum for the public of ideas and information, provide alternatives to commercial programming, enhance a sense of community in the City of Urbana and Champaign County as a whole and promote the City of Urbana and Champaign County" says Anthony Ehresmann, producer of "Urbana Leader".
The first "Urbana Leader" program can be seen at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on channels 5 and/or 13.

National Day of Service
Obama's Inauguration Committee
National Day of Service
Celebrate the Legacy of Martin Luther King
If you want to be part of the movement of change by volunteering some of your precious time to a local good cause but don't know what you'd like to do, we invite you to join us on
Monday, January 19
7:00 p.m.
Urbana United Methodist Church
238 N. Main St.
Urbana, OH
Representatives - or information - will be available from 13 non-profit organizations in Champaign County to describe their services and how you might fit in as a volunteer. You need not make any commitment at this time, but if you're thinking of volunteer service, this would be a great opportunity to see what's out there - and to meet other people who also want to make a difference.
Our country is in crisis and this is one way that you can help without hurting your pocket book!
(The meeting will take place in the Curriculum Room at the UMC.
Use the side door and go to the second floor.)
